| Debit Cards Compromise Alert |
| The Marathon Bank was recently notified by TMX Corporation, the holding company for such retailers as TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, HomeGoods and AJ Wright, of a possible debit card number compromise. The compromise was said to effect debit card holders from the United States, Canada and Europe. Our Bank has been notified of a number of our customer cards being involved in this compromise. If you have tried to use your card and been declined recently, please contact our Operations area at (540) 869-6600, extension 1500 to determine if your card was affected during normal banking hours. We apologize for inconveniencing our customers in this manner but hope to mitigate fraud losses by being proactive in this situation. If your card number was on the list submitted by VISA, your card will no longer work. A new card has been ordered for you and should arrive in the next 7 to 10 days. Thank you for your patience in this situation. |
